BEWARE!!!!! I purchased a used 2019 certified GLE from this dealership in September 2023. Yesterday I took it to have it appraised and found out this car had "moderate damage" to the entire side of the vehicle. The entire side had been repainted. There is NO WAY that a 161-point inspection would...
Consumer Replied: *I owned the car for 17 months, not 2 years. Whether I had issues or not, the vehicle had been wrecked and sold to me without being informed that it had been wrecked. Again, you say you did not know it had been wrecked yet you conducted a certified inspection. Carmax knew within 15 minutes while appraising.
*You offered me AUCTION PRICE, not full market value for the vehicle.
You sold me the car for the market value of a car that HAD NOT been in an accident but wanted me to accept auction price. Why not buy it at market value for a car that had not been in an accident. EXACTLY. I lost money when I purchased the car as a car that had never been in an accident. Word play at it's finest.
*You say that you followed state law. Yes, you did. I stated Virginia is a "buyer beware" state and you took advantage of that loophole by selling me a car that had been in an accident. I expected more from a Mercedes dealership.
*You called my review slander. Slander is a legal term that means "the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation". I assure you everything that I have said in my review is accurate and true. If my review harms your business, then you should probably have more integrity when selling your cars.
*The fact remains, my certified car had been in an accident that caused moderate damage to the vehicle 9 months prior to my purchasing it from your dealership. You said your dealership did the certified inspection AND you said that you did not know it had been in an accident. I would NEVER purchase a car from your dealership again based on those things. Those are the facts.
