While it is hard to predict over the phone how long something can take to repair we need to make sure we do not over promise. In your case the model of upfit done to the Sprinter made the repair twice as long as long as we had expected. It was actually reinstalling your hood and not the paperwork that took the additional 45 mins towards the end of your visit. Our team was happy to assist you and get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Lastly, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with quality multi-point inspections. We do this to ensure our customers are well educated on the condition of their vehicle as well as to try and prevent situations like this where your vehicle breaks down while traveling. Our recommendations can include items that are due by time and mileage as well as noting any items that are inoperative during our inspection. I had mechanical work done on my car- engine control unit, wiring harness and fuel injectors. After paying thousands of dollars in repairs, leaving the dealership the check engine light came back on and then later the car caught on fire.
